Football NSW Club Development Conference returns with new grassroots coaching stream
Football NSW will hold its fourth Club Development Conference on Saturday, 6 February 2027 at Valentine Sports Park, bringing together community football administrators, coaching leaders and committee members to strengthen club operations and support participation growth.
The conference will feature presentations, workshops and networking opportunities, providing attendees with practical insights, information and tools to build their clubs’ capacity.
A new grassroots coach education stream will join the program in 2027, designed specifically to support community club coaching coordinators. The addition expands the conference’s focus to include those responsible for supporting coaches within the community game.
Association staff, club presidents, secretaries, coaching leads and committee members are encouraged to attend.
For community clubs, the conference offers an opportunity to step away from day-to-day responsibilities, exchange ideas with peers and explore approaches to managing growth. Its combination of learning and networking will allow attendees to discuss shared challenges and consider ideas relevant to their own football communities.
Now entering its fourth edition, the event continues to focus on equipping the people behind community football with knowledge and resources to support ongoing participation.
